The JAGD & HUND in 2025 presents a unique shopping and adventure area in the Dortmund exhibition center. Many entertaining highlights make a visit to the fair an event. This is not exclusively about hunting, but about a much wider range of topics. Above all, the contact between the different groups of hunters, huntresses and young hunters is in the foreground here. In 2024, the trade fair in Dortmund was exciting again and attracted numerous visitors and international exhibitors.
In addition to the comprehensive range of products from the international exhibitors, the varied supporting program is part of the overall experience at JAGD & HUND.

Examples are the demonstrations of birds of prey and hunting dogs. Around 1,300 dogs show their merits at the Dortmund Exhibition Centre. Almost all hunting dog breeds are represented. A spectacular off-road vehicle course and hunting fashion shows can also be experienced at JAGD & HUND, Europe's largest hunting exhibition.

Another area of the exhibition is FISCH & ANGEL, meeting point for anglers. It's all about fishing here. Whether you are an expert, a beginner or someone interested, at FISCH & ANGEL you can exchange ideas, find out more and receive further training. Exhibiting companies present products and innovations relating to fishing accessories, fishing tackle and fishing clothing. In addition, well-known professional anglers will show you on all days of the trade fair how to increase your fishing success in fresh and salt water. For example, learn everything about the fine art of bait management and exchange ideas with experts on the topics of rod building and fly tying.

JAGD & HUND is becoming increasingly international. In 2024, companies from 36 nations presented their offerings at Messe Dortmund. Among them: well-travelled international exhibitors from Australia, New Zealand, Argentina, the USA and South Africa.

The program items of the fair in Dortmund offer everything that the heart of the hunter and the nature lover desires.

Whether hunting weapons, optics, jewellery or clothing, at Europe's largest hunting fair, interested visitors will find all the equipment they need for their next hunt. Those who are undecided can find inspiration at one of the numerous fashion shows before seeing the high-quality fabrics and workmanship for themselves at the stands. The presentation of hunting furniture, equipment and art also provides visitors with attractive furnishing ideas for their own four walls.

"Die Hohe Jagd & Fischerei". From forest and meadows to rivers and ponds to equipment, furnishings and technology! Here, all professional and hobby hunters and fishermen will find what their wild heart desires!
A stalking tour through Die Hohe Jagd & Fischerei combines trends, innovations, tradition, sustainability and knowledge in the product and service segment. Afterwards, we invite you to a relaxed exchange in the festival area - the scene meeting point in the Alps-Adriatic-Danube region at the Salzburg exhibition center.

Dog owners get their money's worth in Hall 2/6. In the expanded dog area, visitors can expect a wide range of equipment for their four-legged friends and 'SitPlaceStay' with daily hunting dog demonstrations by the Salzburg Hunting Dog Club and the Austrian Retriever Club.

For the first time this year, “HUNT ON DEMAND”, the largest streaming platform for hunting videos in German-speaking countries, will also be represented at the trade fair. As a highlight, visitors can expect the video premiere of “The Driven Hunt of the Year 2024” on Friday, February 23rd, at 4 p.m. on the Hunt on Demand stage.

The theme of “WILD & ENJOYMENT” will also be a focus in 2024. The stage in Hall 10 will therefore not only offer interesting lectures, interviews and talks, but also cooking and butchering shows, workshops and lots of action. A special highlight is likely to be the “Wild Blind Tasting” on Friday, February 23rd, from 4 p.m.

As in previous years, the “ABSOLUT ALLRAD” special show will also be held in Hall 2/6, where all 4x4 fans will get a comprehensive overview. Away from roads and paved paths, the ATVs are the reliable companion for hunters, fishermen & nature lovers.

New highlights in the FISHING AREA:
The area for all fish and fishing enthusiasts will move to the brighter Hall 8 in 2024 and, under the motto "Enthusiasm for Fishing", will not only offer the return of the fly fishing pool with excellent casters and experts, but also a new workshop street where visitors can expand their knowledge of fly tying, among other things.
